Flight of Divas

Flight of Divas is a biography of 3 distinguished Australian sopranos - Marilyn Richardson, Margreta Elkins and Lisa Gasteen. All three divas are popular and acclaimed in Europe. (Currently, Lisa is the star of the four performances of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, which is attracting international attention for the State Opera of South Australia.)

All three divas are from Queensland, although the trio are national and international figures in opera.

Joan Priest, the author, now 84, is a well-known literary figure in Brisbane and has published 7 biographies.
